Time to upgrade your oven?

So you're thinking ahead and trying to get prepared for a busy festive season, but you might be worrying that your oven isn't up for the job. Maybe you know your oven is on the brink and it won't be able to cope with that turkey you've got your eye on. Or maybe you're just upgrading your fitted kitchen and you want a nice, shiny, new oven. But with the amount of different styles, models, sizes and brands, it can be hard to know which oven to choose.

The main (and most common) domestic kitchen oven is the convection oven. They heat up quickly, offer an even distribution of heat and they come in a range of different sizes and finishes to fit into any fitted kitchen. Another incredibly popular oven type is the range cooker or more commonly a range style cooker. The traditional range cooker is constantly warm, as in the past they weren't just used for cooking, they were used to heat water, dry clothes and even to heat the home. Range style cookers come with all the look of a range cooker, including the multiple hobs, ovens and grills,but you turn it on and off when it's in use. Thanks to an well known and well loved baking show Slide and Hide ovens have shot to popularity. They're an excellent choice if you're slightly short of space in your kitchen as the door completely slides out of the way underneath the oven itself.
