Is it time to declutter your kitchen?
Spring is approaching and whether or not you're a fan of having a big spring clean, you might have noticed that over the winter, and since we've been spending more time at home, things have been piling up and clutter has been accumulating. So there's no better time than now to start working though the clutter and getting things back into ship shape. Here are some quick and easy ways in which you can chuck the clutter.

So where do you start trying to clean out your kitchen? You need to be brutal with yourself and decide what you need to keep and what can get throw away or donated. If you have kitchen appliances, cutlery, glassware etc that you haven't used in months, or you bought on the off chance you might use it but never have, then get rid of it!
Streamlining your surfaces not only give your kitchen an overall cleaner feel, but gives you more worktop space for food prep.
Be ruthless with your food as well. Empty out all your cupboards, check the dates on the packets and get rid of those that are out of the use by date. With many non perishables, they tend to only have a best before date. You can still eat things that have passed this date, but if you don't want too, see if any local food banks will accept the food.
Hopefully by this point, your cupboards will be looking a little bit emptier and cleaner. To take them to the net level, why not look at decanting your dried goods? This gets rid of those unsightly ripped packets, and allows you to stack things next to each other or on top of each other and save space.
