What is an Induction Hob and Oven and how does it work?
An induction hob is a type of cooktop that uses electromagnetism rather than gas or an electric heating element to heat up and cook food. Induction hobs are smooth and flat and can come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The shape, size, and variety of cooking features available will depend on the make and model of the induction hob oven.
What’s more, the surface of the hob is made from heat-resistant toughened ceramic glass. This is most commonly black glass, although there are some induction hobs on the market that have silver or white coloured glass.
Not only that but there are also induction hob to oven casserole dishes, meaning there are casserole dishes suitable for induction hob and oven.
Speed and Control of Induction Hobs and Ovens
Purchasing induction ovens from Paul Davies will heat up the food or liquid you are cooking much quicker than gas or ceramic hobs. This means less time at the hob, and more time eating.
Also, induction hobs are much quicker to change temperature than other types of hobs, as you have more precise control with the electromagnetic field. Therefore, with ceramic, for example, it can take a long time to cool down. Whereas gas, the problem is a lack of specificity in cooking temperature or level.
A good oven and introduction hob should last for years and are something you can rely on to produce great dishes every time. Whenever you’re redoing your kitchen or replacing your old appliances, cookers and ovens are essential.
So, depending on your living space and personal requirements, you can choose between our freestanding cookers, built-in single or double ovens, double oven and induction hob package or if you need additional hobs or extra ovens, a range cooker could be the right choice for you.
